  1. sounds like your ignition is the main prob. Sure your stator/cdi are ok? Got the same issue some times ago: i've been up and down jetting at every corner: no solution: it was a worn out CDI.. Anyway what plug are you using?? 19°... hum hum I'm quite like vespa085 it is maybe a bit too low even if your engine warms up too fast. Not enough time to ignite the whole mix and, need to lean the all carb setup with a serious risk of seize (as it happened to you): that's s a vicious circle....
  2. mine was a 70mm bore piston like a parmakit. I guess they provided a wrong information: it's a 225cc kit... it became a "big port" winter projekt:
  3. hello, I bought this cylinder kit two years ago at beedspeed's: A bloody curry taste!! sort of loosy alloy mold with unexisting transferts porting and an iron lining crooky shoved... A complet mess!!! Big amount of work to get a decent porting.... 2 pics taken before massive surgery:
  4. soon... Cases will be soon back home after a serious welding job. Barrel needs complete relining too. I've got a serious finger injury a mouth ago and can't hardly use my left hand for a while....
  5. hello doubleU impressive work on your transfert ports! I don't know (obviously I'm not alone!) if so high timing will bring you what you're expecting... "Überströmer fräst man nicht"..;Aber warum nicht? when standard transfert port design is so unorthodox and crappy why not redesign all this?? Anyway new malossi MHR 2013 solve this issue with a complete new porting design. I did what you did on an old barrel to get bigger auxiliary (and main) ports: I managed it to keep correct transfert roof angle...
  6. entschuldigung! I mistook o-wheel cover with the spare wheel cover! This T5 was bought without them.... Anyway I guess it will be hard to keep it on rear wheel cos I have less than 1cm between silencer and tyre wall....
  7. No more noise than a sip road when throttle shut! A very quiet exhaust indeed . Inlet noise is even louder. Marco Rentzman made a top civilized expansion exhaust. For the spare wheeI I had to use spacers and washers to their max length to let enough room for the silencer: wheel is right against the side panel: no whell cover possible... Front disc from PX millenium right!
  8. Fast und furious!
  9. Hier ist meine 172 pinasco T5 (126/186°): Malossi runner 65mm kolben MRP DS einlass system, PHBH 30: schieber 40, ND 39, HD 125, X7. standard flowed KW 52mm hub (125-65°) P-D stainless steal bullet UJtronic T5 MMW kopf.
  10. üs118°/as170°
  11. Nein... es gibt keinen basic star fuer den PX125....
  12. oh die schoenen boost porten!
  13. already watched (and rewatched) this dremel promenade!
  14. yep that's really expensive.... I found a french top drill flex machine: Moviluty. pedal controled. high torque even at low speed. Cost me 470 euros. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Krank-hank when I got my (first) pinasco top end it was in a terrible state: massive square seizure. I thought it was maybe a too small piston/barrel play... A friend of mine just seized his brand new pinasco for which he had found in Austria one of the last 63mm o-piston still avalable. He ran less than 200 km with it. You're probably right it's not a richness issue but a badly matched piston... the only pic I have of the ravaged pinasco Uploaded with ImageShack.us Take your time for STISC: it's quite a private club!!
  15. sounds like your pilot jet was too lean to seize at deceleration.... It's a pretty good top end what a pity they stopped making it..... you should join us on STISC and keep us inform of all your tips and T5 ehrfarungen....
  16. i'm trying to get max of this stuning o-zylinder... But you're right nothing's better than a good oooold pinasco/malossi/polossi . By the way I'm reading with big interest every new post of the T5 polossi thread... A gold mine! What happened to your 2nd pinasco engine?
  17. engine reassembled Modified vtronc with circular 1kg weight removed. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  18. ....is running really fine with lots of torque. No more flat spot around 4-4500 t/min...
  19. Ich fahre meine T5, pinasco/malle 172, MRP drehschieber, dello 30, P-D bullet mit Vtronic und 18° vOT ueber 7000.... Ein Messerschmitt!
  20. 130° ist zu viel fuer ueberstroemer....
  21. crank back from the hospital: precisely balanced
  22. Mick abbey's exhaust boost port tuning : such a legend!
  23. Ja excellent link!
  24. I've already read the MB 190 conversion topic. Impressive... Really: What a stuff done on it... Those old cases with damaged seal pad were previously and obviously tuned for a malossi top end (size of the boost port) I didn't drill too much boost port to the crank place just rounded it a bit to avoid gaz flow wrecking. My previous project was much more a dremel extravaganza!
