Scootentole presents the 1st Endurance Challenge Scootentole: The 10h of MagnyCours (Club track) !!



Back again in Magny-Cours in 2012, but this time on a slightly bigger track for the first classic scooter Endurance race in France !




The race time duration will be 10h, the reglements is simple and very open; Strategy and reliability are the two keys of this first edition.
The number of scooter to take part of this Endurance race is limited to 35; Make sure you book a slot as soon as we open registrations !

The track configuration will be the most tweesty one ! Pay attention that this is quite a long and fast track ! 2,6 km long and 10m of wide



Rules, the main lines :
What you can note:

• Single class
• No cut frame, no skeleton -> Full frame scooter, including headset, panels and mudguard
• No engine limitation, EXCEPT
  
  • Fuel tank MUST be of original type, size, capacity and placed at its original location - NO modification allowed to fuel tank
  • Tank CANNOT be changed during re-fueling, only jerrycan
• Max 10 inch wheels (other vintage scooters, please contact us)
• No 4 stroke, no automatic (vintage 4 Stroke, please contact us)
• Road-legal tyres
• Rear/front lights supplied by STATOR (no battery)
• Teams of 3 to 5 pilots + team manager + mechanics; max 7 persons in the pit-stand !!
• Pilot relay one hour maximum

Booking fees:

• 280 euro for the scooter
• 50 euro per driver (3 to 5 drivers)
• 10 euro per visitors

This rate includes practice and race, transponder rental (lap timing), drivers insurances, lottery ticket for each driver, bivouac/camping on the campsite…

You have to provide :

• Name of the team
• Names of each pilots (3 to 5)
• Name of team manager and other members (max 7 persons)
• Two e-mail contacts
• Two handy nummer
• Type of scooter with real displacement of the engine, main modifications, type of exhaust… Details and pictures if possible !
• Driving-licence soft-copies (Bring to the track)
• Medical certificate of each driver soft-copies (Bring to the track)

Important

• The team registration will be validated ONLY when the booking fees have been transfered
• You can unsubscribe (team member or complete team) before the 13th of October 2012. After this date, we will not refund you ! Please give us 2 weeks after the event to process your refund.
• There will a waiting list if we exceed the 35 scooters. Please give us 2 weeks after the event to process your refund
• The start number will be assigned to you.

Race
Practice on Saturday, race on Sunday. Starting at 9:00, arrival at 19:00.
No ranking classes, scratch ranking for all teams !



Planning

Saturday 20th october

12h30 - 15h30 : Administrative registrations and technical inspection.

16h00 - 17h00: Mandatory briefing for Team Managers

17h00 – 18h00 : Free practice (lights on) - At the same time, you will have access to the pits to setup your stand
18h00 – 19h00 : qualifications (timed practice)

Sunday 21th october
7h30 : Briefing pilots
8h15 – 8h45 : warm-up
9h00 : Start
19h00 : Finish

19h30 : Podium + Tombola (lucky draw) + Apero !

Note: On saturday, you can also train on the kart track (smaller track) in alternance with kartings from 15:30 to 17:00, 20euro to be paid to the circuit.

Nevers Magny-Cours Technopole is located in Nièvre department (Bourgogne) 200 km in the south of Paris (2 hours by highway).

2012 is probably to early for scuderia heini, because we have to expand the drivers pool to 4 or 5 and our reliabilty is not as it should be.

So the 2013 scooter Bol'Or could be interesting for us. That's 50 years after my other Bella racer participate at the famous 24h race on the Berlin Avus track.

Ich würde schon eine Roller & Startplatz stellen.
Leider entspricht unsere Langstrecken Roller nicht dem Reglement.

Gut eine SF haben wir auch. Aber bei einer 700Meter geraden? Ich weis nicht.
