Reply in english again... The "rollenkranz" from the PX/PK will NOT fit properly if used together with the "lagerschale" from GS. I have tried that, and the diameter is wrong, so the balls will not lay correct in the "lagerschale". I found that the easiest (and maybe the best) solution is to buy a Piaggio Original upper position bearing kit (preferable not the one in black metal, the one in unpainted metal seems to be better quality) and use all the parts from this kit. Or, maybe even better is to get hold on good condition original parts from another PX/PK or something, then you know the quality of the items is the best posible, not any repro shit. As mentioned before, the outer diameter of the "lagerschale" that is going into the frame on top has to be machined down to fit. It is very hard metal, but a good work shop should be able to help you. From my point of view, it is absolutelly worth the effort. Regards from up north, Stein, Norwegen

Hi! Original GS bearings (loose balls) will NOT fit together with the PK (XL2) fork. On the upper side, you can replace the original GS parts with those from a PX if you machine the part inserted into the frame (don´t know the word in english or german...). You will have to remove some milimeters on the diameter to make it fit in the frame. On the lower side, I managed to insert a new style part into the frame after lots of hammering and hard work. You might want to check if you also here need to remove a little bit on the outer diameter to make the insertion a bit easier. My PK XL 2 fork fits fine after doing this, but to make the optic and rideability better, both fork and damper have to be cut and shortened at least 35 mms. This is something I haven´t done yet... Hope you understand what I mean, even if I don´t know all the proper words needed to do a good describtion. Regards Stein, Norwegen

Cut off the bolt that fixes the seat to the hinge in front. Replace it with a M7 bolt originally meant for holding the engine casings together. Secure it with a nutlock nut. This will stabilize it a bit. To get the seat lower to the frame, do as the other ones have written about; remove the rear braquet and fit the "sitzbankzapfen" directly in the frame in the correct position. Hinge in front can also be cut and lowered to help on the problem. Good luck! Regards from up north, Stein

More than 150 preregistered, 29 degrees and sunny, 3 bands and loads of dj´s booked. First Germans arrived at 23.45 last night. Now we are ready for a good weekend! Check this space later for pictures etc!

I bought it, mounted it and then removed it again. I find the area where you sit too flat, no curves or shape at all, and that make it look a bit strange on the Rally/Sprint frames. And, it is too long. Mounting one of those Lammy chrome thingies on the frame behind the seat helps, but I stilll find the looks not perfect. But, as someone said, for its price (think I paid ? 75 or so), it is ok. Regards Stein, Norwegen
