  1. 2.serie and berlinscooter: would be great to see you there :grins: Copenhagen-Oslo return should be still available, and the distance driving from Hamburg is not very much more than the Kiel-Gothenburg people have to do. And, please terrorize Marc and Christoph so much that they cannot do anything else than join you!!!! Have a great weekend! The snow is finally loosing its grip on Oslo, 2-3 more days of good weather and the flamescoot will again see asphalt! Stein O
  2. Hey hooo, this I might like :grins: We are going for an all time record in participants for a Norwegian run, so be sure to be there for the fun! Great to see that so many Germans are heading our way!!!! Looking forward to seeing you all and will do my best to make you drive home with a big grind on your faces All the best from further north, Stein Overland Run coordinator Hello Tim! Which ferry did you book? Stein
  3. Marc is also concidering Copenhagen-Oslo Best Stein
  4. Which means Kiel-Oslo and Kiel-Gothenburg is no longer an option :grr: But, approx 350 kms or so from Hamburg you will find Copenhagen in Denmark, and DFDS Seaways run the ferry between Copenhagen and Oslo. Check out www.dfds.de for more info. So, total distance ridden will be something of the same if you take this ferry or the Kiel-Gothenburg one. Best Stein O
  5. Hello friends! Bad news, after telling us for weeks and weeks that there are good chances for discounts, all three ferry companies have now decided not to give us dicount due to high season. So, even if we tried, we didnt succeed But, I hope this doesnt stop you The ferry Kiel - Gothenburg is not so damn expensive, so that should be a possibility. And, also have a look at the tortured maniacs´webpage, lots of info there! 121 prebooked now, and rising!!!! And, we have now managed to get a deal where there will be a lottery with a brand new Piaggio or Vespa scooter to win :sabber: Just another reason for going, isnt it..!? See you there! Best, Stein Overland
  6. Hello people! Finally I have got my hands on a GS 150 frame that is good enough for a project, and will shortly start working on the PX 200 engine in WF project. I have one of those MrEd braquets, so fitting the front end of the engine seems like a straight forward deal. But, what are your experiences with the rear fitting? Are you using the original GS mounting top with a longer distance piece, or will this lead to a wrong angle on the damper and therefore stress to the rubber damping in the mounting top? Or have any of you custom made a new damper-to-the-frame fitting? All answers a comments appreciated
  7. Tim, brilliant page, and really nice that you are comming!!!! I have posted a link to it on the CSR forum, hope that is ok. We will try to arrange a discount on the Kiel-Gothenburg ferry too, hope to have an answer within a few weeks. Stein O
  8. Ahhh, that is perfect!!!! As of today, 95 people prebooked for the run, and we are still missing lots of names on the list!!! I believed this might be the biggest run in Norway ever ! Be sure to log onto www.classicscooterrun.no for the latest info. Soon you will find info on ferry discounts etc on the webpages. Right now we are working on the sponsors, and if you have a bit of luck you might be bringing something more than the good memories back home!!! Hope to see many known and unknown faces at our run, I know you will enjoy it Drive fast/ Stein Overland Run coordinator

  17. Looking for a seat for GS 150, condition doesnt matter when the price is right. Also looking for a Malossi 172 for the T5 in good and workable condition. Regards Stein, Norway (can be delivered in Germany)
  18. Hello you all! After riding with a DellOrto 30mm without beeing able to tune it in correctly, I have switched to a Mikuni 35mm on my Malossi 210 engine. But, with problems it seems... The setup is 305 main jet, 20 pilot jet, standard needle with clip on second lowest. The engine ran very smooth and had good power, but the engine seemed to get quite hot. Actually too hot, since the nicasil left the inside of the cylinder and made it rather useless... Today I have switched to another cylinder, a 340 main jet and put the clip on the needle on the second highest. It is now going too rich, but hopefully it wont seize. I should also inform you that I ride with the round Mikuni fuel pump and NGK 8 spark plug. So, since I am leaving Norway for Holiday in Holland in a few days, and are a bit nervous that it will break down, I would very much appreciale any tip on why the engine gets so hot, and if anyone else have experienced anything like this. BTW, I have checked that the fuel pump is working properly. I know others that have used 17,5 pilot, 290 main jet and clip on needle at second lowest on quite similiar engines to mine, and managed to keep it from seizing... And naturally, I am looking for a place with a dyno and CO meassurer that can have a look at my scoot on my way to Holland. Does anyone know about something like this around Hamburg? Any comments most appreciated!
  19. Hello again to you both! Thanks for your tip, I will read the manual and have also been reading a bit on this issue now on this site. If you see me at Holiday in Holland this summer, I made it
  20. Hello you all! I am going to use a Mikuni 35 together with my MRB reed on my PX 210 engine, and would like to know about your experiences with fuel pump/not fuel pump in this setup. I have read that you often dont need the fuelpump when using a Mikuni, and that the pump might mess up the setup of the carb. Anyone who have something to say on this issue?
  21. I have for sale or trade an engine with the following specifications: -PX 200 engineblock, machined to a great extend, black powder coating, engine offset 10mm for fitting of wide tyre and better room for carb -Full T5 gearing, Rally200 primary drive -Cosa clutch 21 teeth, strengthened -Semi full circle crank with Rotax conrod with 18mm upper hole -MRB reedblock with TS1 reed -MRB steel liner 220 cylinder, newly bored and honed, 2nd oversize, have done about 1000 kms -Suzuki piston -Taffspeed head with centred plughole -30mm Dellorto -PK 1800g flywheel Comes without ignition plate. I have spent loads of money on this engine, but I will consider any sensible offer. Or, I am willing to trade it for a well tuned T5 engine and a good exhaust for such. Have prints from german dynotest stating 21,3 hp on rear wheel (scooter then had Taffspeed exhaust and has had a change of gearbox since) I havent managed to make it pull 4th gear very well, even with full T5 gearing. Maybe another dynotest will fix some of it!? Anyway, 3rd gear is a monster!! Also have: -Full hydraulic SIP clutch, incl clutchcover, new stahlflex and Grimeca pump on handlebar -Rally headseat, beautifully modified for hydraulic pump, clutch and brake. Make me an offer! Best regards, Stein, Oslo, Norwegen
