  1. Hi all, Currently rebuilding my VS5 with fully renovated engine with SIP cylinder and Vape ignition. -Also fit SIP electric harness to suit the scooter and ignition. All connected around the engine and regulator was straight forward. But at the headset I have a challange. I have the following 5 cables; Green Black Blue Yellow White The ignition lock is as pr picture. The light switch is as pr picture. Could you please adwise me on how to connect the cables on the ignition switch, as well what cables from light switch to lamp and ignition switch? Thanks in advance!

  3. Hi, Would it be functional to fit a Quattrinin M244 cylinder kit on casings that has been modified for VMC 244 Explorer kit (spigot opened for the Explorer going 8mm down into the casings)? Rgrds Øyvind

  5. Probably the same challange with my clutch, as it appers that the springs is a bit short... Anyhow, 6 disk clutch from Egig is on the way and hopefully readily installed for the rally next weekend....
  6. I’ve asked, and his suggestions/tips doesn’t work/help… -unfortunately. He’s been helping as good as possible, But seems like the BFA has «too much» power for the clutch…
  7. And it slips like h#ll again.... -with 75W140 oil.... Could it be the plates "contaminated" with old oil or? I have new plates and XL springs on the way, but not sure if that is sufficient. Anyone using GP-one clutch with 45bhp without slipping? -what setup of springs and oil are you using? Last attempt before going for another clutch.

  9. Brilliant M245! I have a few bottles of MTX 75-W140, so I'll test that. The cork plates has only done about 2km, so I'll try to "flush" the gearbox with 75-140 a few times and see if it works. -if not, it is yet another set of new cork plates.... As said I'm using BGM Superstrong Racing Red plates at the moment. -any suggestion for other(better) plates? Rgrds Ø
  10. Hi all, I've got an issue with the clutch in my KingwelleBFA 244 engine.... 45bhp... The clutch keeps on slipping. (mainly when powerband hits in 4th gear now) I've tried various springs and oils. Currently I'm using BGM Superstrong racing red cork plates with 10W-50 Malossi oil... Springs are 5XL and 5L from SIP. Any suggestions for making the clutch stop slipping? Any tips highly appreciated! :)
  11. Hi, Sorry for asking for something that has probably been asked numerous times before.... Can someone please guide me to someone who is building/modifying PK-forks for SS180 that actually fit the fender and rideheight? Thanks!
  12. Hi, currently building my Explorer-engine, but I’ve run into a problem with the flywheel. It’s a ele-start flywheel that has been machined down, but apperantly not enough as you can see in the picture. My question is if I can remove some material from the cylinder without breaking through?? rgrds øyvind
  13. I've already rebuilt the engine with a new gearbox, and the noise in 4th is now gone. Just have to mount it in the frame and test it on the road.
  14. Hi, Newly built Polini130-engine with full circle crank, Egig clutch, PHBH24 on reed and original gearbox. Engine runs very very good in 1st and 2nd gear, but jumps in and out of gear when in 3rd. And very bad noise in 4th. -big «clunks» like someone is hitting the casings with a hammer. The same noise in 4th without engine running, also with clutch engaged.

  16. Hi, Just fitted the complete Egig one-finger-clutch in my Polini130-engine with Polini XL2 cover.... But the clutch touches the clutch cover (similar as it would on a normal V-cover), So I had to fit a 1mm spacer to make it spin free... So apperantly something wrong. -any tips? Rgrds

  18. Hi all, First, sorry for english, aber mein deutch sind sehr slecht.... I've got a M244 (60mm quatt crank, 24/63 on original gearbox, keihin28 standard ignition and SB sport3) for the moment in my SS180 Going to build a M265 on VR-one with MRP cnc reed with Vape static. (hope it is ok to ask even if not 260 but 265...) Either the SB box or a Polini box (going to try both) Will a PHBH30 be sufficient? (trying to get great milage) A lot of my touring is with my PAV41 behind the scooter, so I'm not looking for peak horsepower, but tourqe for steep Norwegian hills and mountains... Rgrds Øyvind
