Hi

it seems to be quiet usual to have this problem with Hp4 flywheel :

the rivets are not strong enough so the plates begin to move inside the flywheel ....

indeed we are more than 5 guys in France who have/had this problem after very few kilometers... :-D

it is really disappointing for a 125€ stuff.... :-D

Well could you tell me what is the best way to fix those plates ?

seal ? which one ?

screws and nuts ?

new rivets ?

and if you have some pictures, you are welcome .... :-D

thanks

Buy a original HP4 and you dont have this problem.

I agree with the poster above me. I´ve an original HP4- flywheel and no problem like that.

How to identify an original HP4? If there is a gearwheel annulus around it, you´re right! :-D

ok thanks for the advice but I have already one "not orginal" HP4 flywheel to repare.... :-D

the Hp4 scooter are very rare in France....so they are no original hp4 flywheel to sell. :-D

my original hp4 lasted 4 years with 3 repairs, twice destroying the flywheel and damaging the engine case. this sucked a lot.

now a vespatronic works very fine. i can only recommend to go this way and leave hp4 behind - or used pk elestart.

or used pk elestart.

If you have the right machines, its possible to bring that one down to 1300gr. If not, you can ask "kobold" here in the gsf, he offers that service ! I also ride one, not a big differance to an hp4 flywheel and as reliant as the original pk flywheel + much cheaper ! :-D

my HP4 Flywheel has the same Problem. This sucks.

i build my owne Flywheel. It´s a normal PK-Flywheel with a Parma-Kit. But my selfmade Flywheel ist a little bit higher as the original or HP4.

here in GSF is a Topic about selfmade Flywheel, maybe someone can post the link.

well I have also the vespatronic and I have just put in down because I want to use a ducati ignition to test the vCDI on my race engine :-D

so I need a 1kg flywheel which can be used with a ducati ignition
