Hi, 

     I am in Australia and have a P80X that I'm fitting DR135 kit to.

 

I only have Cylinder & Piston & Rings. 
 

I am missing Gudgeon pin - is this a particular size? Length?? 
 

Also which way do rings go?

Don‘t know the size of the gudgeon pin, but the L shaped ring ist the upper one with the opening of the L showing to the top. 
 

If it helps, there is Goetz Neugebauer down there in AUS, search GN Classics on facebook. German origin, he is a very experienced vespa mechanic with his own business.

Here you can see the Piston with rings, clips and gudgeon pin. I think SIP can send it to australia too. 

According to this topic the pin of a Malossi 139 should als do, although it's a few mm shorter. 

 

As you say you don't have a matching head, keep in mind that you can't/shouldn't run the kit with an original 80ccm head! Also be sure to use the DR pin circlips with round cross-section and not the original square type from the Piaggio piston.

Fits on a DR 177 thus it should also fit on a DR 135 because the piston is quite similar. But maybe it make sense to write them a short e-mail to be 100 % save.

Thanks Everyone for your advise, I am just awaiting a cylinder head from Sip, and then it'll all be done and back to the customer :)
