Anyone tried to make a 22/65 combiantion ?

I know it can be done by unriveting the central clutch gear from a P150 clutch and reattaching it to a P200 style clutch.

But what kind of rivet do you use ? What should I look for ?

Or can I use a complete P150 clutch with 22 teeths in a Rally 200 engine without worrying about explosion of the clutch ?

Anyone with a good idea ?

No, No, No!

A P125/150 primary gear-drive is not compatible with the series 200 at all!!

You can use a 21teeth or 23orig.teeth cluch from late PX or Cosa on the 65teeth primary-drive, nothing else!

Moreover the smaller 125/150 cluch has less diameter, less strength, less springs (6 instead of 7), and is far too weak for any tuning-option, even for 177 (exc. shit-DR!)

So my only solution is a 21 teeth clutch, but I tried it and there's too much play between each tooth. Only half of the tooth is connected to the other.

I'm not very confident with that solution, with such a setup a tooth could broke easily.

Am I wrong to think that way ?

My solution is to use the 22teeth Rally clutch in conbination with a 68teeth Cosa or 67teeth primary-drive of any other 125/150 Vespa.

Am I right Folks?
