can someone help me?

I am driving a vespa pk (xl1)

with a DR75 cylinderkit and a standard 16/10 carburator. the main jet at the moment is 55. the exhaust is a Tecnigas chrome banana. the airfilter is from malossi

but he doesn't drive like he has to drive.

when I drive full throttle, he doesn't go straight, he holds in, normally it drives on the speedo 70km/h but then it falls back to 60km/u, back to 70km/u, back to 60/u...

does anyone know what's the problem and which main jet I need?

your carb is a bit small for that cylinder. if possible use a 16.16 carb.

jetting should be between 68 and 74.

sounds also like your clutch doesn't separate fully.

the problem with the clutch is also something strange... he only falls dead when i hold the clutch lever in 1ste, 2nd, 3th and 4th gear.

The jetting mentioned is only for 16.16. 16.10 is a lot smaller (around 57 or something like that i guess but i really dont know).

If I get your problem right it might also not be carb-related. Sometimes its strange things like a kill-cable that gets grounded everytime you do something (move something. may be gas, shift, clutch, ...).

Does it die like when you push the kill button?

then it definetly looks like a short circuit. Check your electricity, especially in the control lever.

I also have a 75ccm cylinder (Dr75F1) in a V50 with a 16.10 carburator. Not the best solution, but I didn't have a 16.16 or 19.19. The mainjet is 65, the exhaust ist the "Piaggio Banana :)"

While driving, pull out the choke --> your engine should go much better. Take a bigger mainjet.

I have a transmission of 3,72 and 10" wheels. This makes little more than 60km/h (measured with GPS).
