For the piston, the ovality of the barrel is différent , you need a micrometric comparator to mesure it ..... For the head, the dome shape is different.

Hi John, No piston and head are different between m1l-08 and m1l-09 You had "only" 19ps with piston and head from the M1L-09 ? mine is currently in progress: there is a really bad burr to remove in the entrance of the boyesen-port... as I am a worse driver than you I hope to have more ps than last year.... :-D
