Hallo, the air cooled cylinder BFA/KW 244cc for M200 casings was born from a common idea betwen us and KingWelle in 2019. First prototype was sent in Austria in early 2020 I had to search in my old pc some mails, notes and files... First lot made, after 3 prototypes was around 12 pcs. 6/7 of them went in Austria after half 2020 year. The other 3/4 where in Italy and we never had bad news about them. For that we know as BFA, not every cylinder was affected. Some cylinder was good, some not. We know for sure that we gave some free cylinder to Kingwelle and for sure they changed to some customers. Some of them had not yet fired up his engines; Some others where changed when already running and I know that Kingwelle changed “when and if” problem came up. I think this was the right way. Some others are still running without problems. So if there is still some potential problems, we think that can’t be so diffused. For the second lot, we don’t have any claim at the time, but Vespa tuning is always a beautiful surprise... We dont know all the cases, we dont know all the customers. ------------------ Today situation Kingwelle, since middle 2023 is no more interested on selling this product on german market. We, as BFA are obviously more interested in selling our 288cc kit including our casings, crankshaft, clutch and so on. Despite this, we still produced a small amount of 244 cylinders in early 2024 and a new small lot is coming with only BFA logo on it. All cylinders will be sold with a Vertex piston 18 pin. After 3/4 years, it becomes very difficult for us to provide guarantees on cylinders not sold by us, whose lives we do not know what they have had, or how they have been used. On the other hand, we would like to help all owners enjoy this product to the fullest. Hallo, all the people. I'm Alessandro from BFA. We are in contact with the guy that is yet in vacation in Serbia. We will take a look to the cylinder as soon as possible. However this cylinder is probably one of the first serie, or pre-series built, - year 2019/2020. After this first serie, we applied some changes and also the founder made some changes in the melting process and in the sands. From the second series we dont have any notice of foundry/mould problems anymnore. However there are many first series that are still running well and without problems.

Hallo August, every new product of the “std studs px line BFA 2021” is now on test. As usual, is very rare that we publish some curve coming from our dyno. We prefer that customers do that, because every dyno is different, every head and every hand makes a different engine, even if components are (could seems) similar. We trust our “rear sensors” (pls read butt) to define if a product is ok or not At same time the first numbers exit out of our dyno, make us optimists.

Hallo Pxcop and hallo to all the forum, I'm Alessandro, one of the two partners of BFA. I'm P.R man. and the other, engineer and designer, is Fabio B. First of all I wish to suggest everyone to use email to contact us and ask info. info[at]bfamotori.com is the adress. In maximum two days we answer every request. If you don't see answers, please, dont be shy and write again, because some problems could be happend with our "spam" system. Answer on FB Messenger or WhatsApp and keep trace of the story of questions of a (potential) customer, is not possible for us. This way could be ok for first contact, but then we must proceed with email exchange. In Bfa we are conscious that, sometimes, our prices could be "a little bit" more expensive, if compared to the other similar products on the market. What we desire to specify, is that, in this new line for Large Frame, the product that will suffer more our production standards is the smallest one, the 177cc. This because the pure cost of "making of" is, in percentage, only a little bit less than the other two bigger brothers 225cc (69x60, 125/150 studs casings) and 244cc (72x60, 200 studs casings). Official price list is not yet ready, but I can say this expected prices excludet taxes. (PLEASE CONSIDER that a +-10% variation could be possible from now to the launch on the market) something less than 600,00 EUR for 177cc (63x57) something more tha 600,00 EUR for 187cc (63x60) between 750,00 EUR and 800 for 225 (69x60) something more than 800,00 EUR for 244cc (72x60) around 390,00 EUR for the new 4d clutch EUR 332,00 for our valve cranckshaft 60 – conrod 110 EUR 366,00 for our valve cranckshaft 60 – conrod 127 That's all for now, Thanks for the attention and enjoy our products
