I only tested every kit (except those supplied with longer stroke cranks) with 58mm stroke because that is the stroke that most kits are designed for so this issue did not crop up for me. Many 58mm stroke kits work worse with 60mm depending on how you set them up, and whether or not you adjust the port timings to suit. I'm not sure my wife would notice an extra 2mm stroke if the timings were all off. Sometimes it's better to let it rev.

Quick update. I suggested an update to the RLC crank puller tool because it was a bit of a pain to use as the crank always wanted to turn when you were pulling it. They've now added a bolt in the side that rests against an exhaust stud to stop the tool and crank turning. There is still movement to 'wiggle' the crank enough to get into the oilseal but the tool works much better. It's really nice to deal with a company who listen when you suggest updates and improvements. If you want one I'm sure you can find it without me adding a link.
