  1. Hi to all.... I havent been able to race much this year for various reasons.. in fact Cadwell will be my second time on two wheels since April.. :( But... I welcome you guys to come to what I feel is our best track in the Uk... Cadwell Park... Stoffi and Michael have been before.. and they are coming again.. you will need a FIM license to race (i'm sure stoffi will help or advise). This place is amazing... it has 150km/h corners as well as 80 km/h corners.. it has hills and flat sections...and some very fast straights,,, the British Superbikes use this track Also 'Scooterotica' Forum will be hosting a 'rally' there... more like a weekender.. please come and enjoy and mix in with us... it will be a great time.
  2. Just want to say well done to you all and of course to Marco... excellent stuff mate
  3. Marcus.. you are too cheeky... Ps. why is there a tree growing out from your brain? Please see a doctor quickly!!!!
  4. Nice website Rustracer.. I like the photogallery!
  5. Cheers guys.. I'll have a look rustracer at your site. The scoot is known as the Green Hornet in uk. It was named by a lad on Scooterotica forum a few years ago.
  6. hi fellas. Its been a while for me to come on here so hope you are all well and getting ready for that 'ring' in may! A friend of mine has just created a website for me and I thought you might like a look. Hopefully some rich business's will come along and help me with some sponsorship..who knows anyway, let me know what you think..its early days. The front page refreshes with new blogs I've made in the sections on the right and the history etc is up the top thanks! www.green-hornet.co.uk
  7. Ah Stefan so you guys got eddie's bike I see! Ha! I wondered where it went. Where is it now?
  8. thanks its under the mudguard.. can you see the two silver washers? They retain it.
  9. ahh lost in translation! It could be a pascoli.. the seat and the tank lid were the only items done when i bought this 90ss in boxes. It is not nice. I dont like it either. it will be put right the green one as requested
  10. I bought the bike about nine years ago. the seat is original but badly recovered as is the tank pad. If you want I'll photograph the inside of the seat to show you. Mudguard is original..in fact the only thing that isnt is the engine. The original engine sits on a shelf in my garage. I intend to get both seat and tank pad recovered. I restored this bike about 7 years ago. This is what it sounds like. Motor is being stroked to 54 for this year. rev up
  11. Hi guys..the green race bike was painted as a tribute to norrie's Lc1 with his blessing. He is a good friend of mine and have known him since 1986! Mine has black stripes but the Lc1 had white. Here is my road bike. Hope you like.
  12. I dont know if this is the right section so move it fellas if its wrong. This is a few laps of Cadwell on board with Stuart Day. No motor sound as it failed-sorry.
  13. Sorry Marcus. I dont have a granny windscreen but I will bring my bike in the same form as I use it for work.... see below!
  14. Sounds good to me guys. But I feel a little awkward because I dont speak German and somehow it feels wrong to expect you all to talk in English as you kindly did. However... if you are ok I will practise my 'dankes' for the tall blonde girl that you will supply holding my beers!
  15. Ok thanks.. a little more relaxed maybe? More social? More beers! Sounds good I may even bring 'Marion' with her plate of beers
  16. stefan.. this is eddie dickinson on his 90ss 125 grp 2 mickeck bike in about 88/89.
  17. by the way, is the May event 2 days or 1 like September?
  18. I will have a look. Of course as you say the motor does make power lower down the rpm scale. It was on that test for scootering Charly started the recording at that point. Its actually very easy to ride. It is not all or nothing in its delivery.
  19. And as I said before on this dyno the rpm scale is wrong. Its at least under by 1000rpm so 10,000 is really 11,000. I'll post a pt graph when i find it lads.
  20. Racing at Mallory Park at the start of this year for those interested in racing in Uk.
  21. Hi..nothing done to barrel bore to make it survive. However Charlie re worked the porting, head and designed and built a new exhaust for road racing. The graph has been published in scootering's "smallframe dyno shootout" at the end of last year. The dyno rpm scale was wrong but the curve is correct. I'll try to find the edition and let you know. Minikin will remember!
  22. Hi guys. motor is 60x54 i used 28/68 and I felt it was under geared as max power was reached half way between corner and start/finish line. I tried to gear up before first session but drt primary was not coming off! So I ran it as was and it reached 11,400 with 3.50 tyre (same size as dunlop tt92). You must allow for clutch slip but also for tyre growth. Its around 165 to 170kph I think. Gps would say yes or no I guess. I will fit a gps for Cadwell Park. The straight is shorter but I think 160 kph is possible here. Maybe wind resistance slows the bikes more than we think?
