I never had the opportunity to check, can I replace a V5A flywheel with a primavera stator ?

You only know, after you try.

It depends on how old some of your parts are...

Some older Flywheels have the inspection hole in a different ( more to the center )position, which makes it about impossible to work on, or even check the points.

So - if the holes are the same, just check if anything is grinding after it is assembled - if not, there will be nothing wrong to use another (points) Flywheel.

Recheck the timing of course.
