I'd like to add a battery to my lambretta to power spot & fog lights

so I need to built and weld a battery tray, and find a battery powerfull enough.

So which battery do you use ? Do you have a reference to give me, or the measurements, so that I can build my tray at the correct size.

(original tray appr. 150x75 mm,i seem to recall...)

recommended batteries:

original 12N5-3B(121mmx61mm),spanish lince uses 12N9-4B1 - so 12N7/9-3B(136x76mm) would be a good choice,but don´t know if it will run to short?

(add those lights,old school technique)

Anyone can confirm me that the 12n9 battery fit in a lambretta between the tank and glove box ?
