The original pxe battery is a 12V 9Ah (a Fiamm in my pxe).

My battery is dead.

I'd like to change it.

I've seen that the 125X9 battery (12V 11 Ah) has about the same dimensions.

Would it be better to have a more Ah battery if I wanna use a 55w halogen bulb lamp ?

Is it better to choose a brand like varta (sold at roller...) or a generic one ?

I use a 7 Ah in my PX200, my vespa dealer told me so.

I think this is also mentioned in the service manual.

Your PX got an electric starter? (and you use ist?!). then the 9ah battery is the right one. a stronger bulb lamp will have the result that the loading time of your battery ist longer - but your light doesn't need the battery for more power. so I would use the original size. Your battery is needed only for the starter and the horn.

More important than capacity or brand for the life of a battery are correct size and a little care for correct liquid level and some reloading when not using the vespa in winter.

So, choosing a varta one (as rollershop proposes) or a generic one (sip for example) is about the same...
