Im restoring a 1960 VGLB1 and want to do a full engine rebuild..i'd like to replace the engine swingarm buffer blocks (silent gummis) but I wonder if there is a way to do this youreselfwithout the special tools...

any tips would be handy!

Do you really need to replace them? I have done that work before, If I was you I would try not to do that work.

I built the tools needed for that work myself, thats much cheaper than buying any special tools.

they don't look like theyre in perfect condition , but there aren't very terrrible either..i donn't know really..is there no easy way?

Your problem will be, that the silent rubbers normally not available for the "small" engines ( up to 150cc). Just for the 200cc casings and further it will be a fuckin g hard job and a special tool is necassary...
