Hi all,

Currently rebuilding my VS5 with fully renovated engine with SIP cylinder and Vape ignition.
-Also fit SIP electric harness to suit the scooter and ignition.

All connected around the engine and regulator was straight forward.

But at the headset I have a challange.
I have the following 5 cables;
Green

Black

Blue

Yellow

White

The ignition lock is as pr picture.

The light switch is as pr picture.

Could you please adwise me on how to connect the cables on the ignition switch, as well what cables from light switch to lamp and ignition switch?

For AC-Conversion utilizing the original SIEM 8-pin Ignition switch, take a look at this wiring diagram:

Don't know your wiring loom in detail but try it this way:

SIEM 8-pin Ignition Switch (AC-only)

PIN	wiring-loom	function
Pin 1.	yellow (*)	dedicated/new cable going to the Light-Switch (bottom center pin)
Pin 2.	blue	AC input (from Regulator)
Pin 3.	white	Ground Connector for the Horn - a second new wire goes from here to the Light/Horn switch
Pin 4.	blue	AC input (from Regulator - Bridge from Pin.2)
Pin 5.	yellow	Parking Lights (Front and Taillight)
Pin 6.	green	Engine kill
Pin 7.	n.a.	Power to Horn and Brakelight (not needed, blue should be internally connected already)
Pin 8.	***	dedicated/new cable to Speedo-light

black	Chassis Ground - screw onto the steering head
white	dedicated/new cable going from Pin 3. to the Horn-/Light-Switch (bottom right pin)
brown/or other color	dedicated/new cable going FROM the Light-Switch to the headlight (top left pin)
purple/or other color	dedicated/new cable going FROM the Light-Switch to the headlight (top right pin)

make sure that at least one of the light-bulbs for Speedo, Taillight and front parking light are working, otherwise the engine kill will not work using the original 8-pin ignition switch.
