I was just curious if there are any alternative pistons available apart from the GS piston ?

There are some alternatives. Older CR 125 Pistons come in sizes right up to 58mm (as listed here). Gudgeon pin size is 14 instead of 15. I'm quite sure there is a small end bearing to take care of the difference though. Then there's the 58mm piston used in the 135cc version of the latest parmakit zylinders. Frankly I'd go for the GS still, it's comparatively cheap, rings are good and it's a straight replacement for the original piston (which, by the way, isn't a bad piston either).
