If you replace the core of the lock with a repro or one from another GS3 or T4 with a flap, you should be able to move the pins from the old core to the new core and use the same key. Iv done this before. You just need to make sure the pins are in the same order, and the key type is the same. I finally found a picture in this thread . The rectifier cover is definitely black. I still can not tell about the batter cover, there is too much corrosion. It looks like the inside of the cowl which sprayed in silver-gray, but some paint flaked away to expose the red primer.
