Smart Booster is doing very well so far; very good feedback and almost no problem beside the usual "tuning with 30 years old parts" ! Thanks ! There will be a 2014 version coming in about 3 months and it will be quite different and similar at the same time ! The biggest change is his appearance; we have finally decided to change the female connectors for wires. There are multiple reasons for that: * fitting SB under standard rubber cap is actually not so easy * room between CDI and wire-box on PX is tight * twisting wires should be avoided Internally, everything remains the same except that the "Spark Magnifier" part will be removed ! The main reason here is to make the SB compatible with many more engines ! But the good news is that for those who already own a Spark Magnifier module, they will be able to use it, complementary of the SB2014 The rest; internal high voltage supply and digital ignition timing will remain the same; they have confirmed their robustness, if it works don't touch Stay tuned...

Some updates,.... it works * Smart Booster on SPRT-1 #33 finishes 4th out of 31 at the 10 hours Endurance Challenge Scootentole(20/10/2013) ! SPRT Team. (Could have finished on the podium if they did not run out of fuel on the first relay and if the PL170 rotor did not grind some wires of the stator !) * Smart Booster finishes 2nd place of the Vespa Raid Maroc 2013 (27/10 au 2/11/2013), thanks to Tony Iannone from the Scootentole Aventure team !! Besides that, we are starting to discuss with distributors, so keep an eye on our website for updates !

Good news ! There was a go-kart race planned on the go-kart track (where we organized the Challenge Scootentole sprint race in September); it is now canceled ! So it means we can train the whole saturday on this track for 30EUR (or so). Just remember to do the Registration and technical inspection between 4 and 6 PM on the "Club" track.

I'll do a quick update on behalf of Karren77; He is using a MITSUBHI CDI, which is a cheap asian copy of MITSUBA, official OEM part from Piaggio. They use different internal component and they are known for not being very robust and reliable. Apparently, they are not compatible with the Smart Booster. I will try to get one to do some measurement. As for now, all other coils such are OEM parts like Ducati, CEM and MITSUBA, as well as third party like BGM (blue/red) works fine.

Because there are some chicanes that we could decide to shortcut in some configuration. But It is already fast, and this will make it a bit more twisty and interesting ! Looking forward to see your beautiful machine !

@Alex: Yes, it is a fast track but very wide and with some interesting curves. We will use the same track configuration as the one shown in the first video (Formule Renault). @sqooter.com: We are waiting for you to register @All: there will be a van to pick you up when you are left on the side of the track.
