Taking things very precisely, I believe you are right. However, Smart-Booster targets the majority of Vespa and Lambretta engines, hence, it is not possible to implement a "real" plateau with increasing pre-ignition that would suit so many different engine setup. To do this, you will have to wait for the programmable version of the Smart Booster, currently called vCDI -
One more (Italian) team just registered, 5 start numbers remaining ! If not done yet, please complete your registration by sending missing information and payment. One more reminder: If you have questions about technical rules, please ask BEFORE the race. The key point is the tank: * Must be ORIGINAL type for the frame; i.e NO PK tank in primi frame. NO rally tank in PX frame, etc * Must be at his original location (under the seat for most scooters) * Must NOT be modified. i.e, PX tank cannot reuse oil tube to add an extra 1L or so. Bottom line: If you have questions about technical rules, please ask BEFORE the race !!

@Gandis: I can also generate 20 set of curves; for your ignition set to 16deg, 17deg, 18deg, 19deg, 20deg, etc, etc... You just need to substract your static timing with what is on the curve. -

The most important is what is written in red in the above slides ! "0" is your static timing, for example 24deg. "-8" is then "your static timing - 8degree", so for example "24 - 8 = 16degree" ! -

Official Training and qualification on Saturday from 18h to 20h. Make sure lights are working ! You can also train on the go-kart race track on Friday. The track will be shared with karting.

To All team, make sure you have read properly the rules... There is not so much constraints, the few ones are key; * Original tank (No rally tank on PX), original location, original shape, NO modification allowed (cannot use lub hole on PX tank, etc). * Only limited frame cut allowed. * Original wheel size (9", 10", etc) Ask before, on the D-day it will be too late !

With regards to the medical certificate, it can be in German, Italian, English or French...etc As long as it is signed and dated less than a year ago !

When I say misalign, I assume that the static timing is still correct, only the pickup signal is weak. -

For your information, the Smart Booster should still work with end-of-life pickup. It does not use it the same way a normal "CDI" unit would use it. Hence, it is more tolerant to stator/rotor misalignement, faulty parts, etc. -
