Von Pinasco: Dear Customer, Thank you for your email but it’s all ok, maybe you don't know that all engines with single-ring racing pistons have the pin in the 3rd port, Kart, GP Vespa Small etc., this because more the ring has the closure towards the 3rd port, more the elastic pressure is uniformly distributed, more is the sealing on the cylinder walls. What you say was correct in the past, but it’s old school for performant cylinder kits. We made several tests before finding the best position of the pins..., so, with 251cc engine we won the Large Frame category 24h Zuera endurance race last May and 10h of Magny-Cours endurance race two weeks ago.
