Here also no "S" found under the taillight, but .... frame number: 1302 motornr: 1319 Stampt number: 1319 Coincidence or not? @ Olof K: is your ss a German one (with blinkers) or possible a Dutch one (like mine)?

There was a layer of foam under the seat cover, but because the seat cover was not original, I doubted that it belonged there. Thanks! :)

Here are a few pictures of a saddle cover Mauro Pascoli. Unfortunately, the rivets of the nameplate are not long enough to go in the saddle frame... Should there under the seat cover a foam layer or just a rubber sheet?

Saturday we have tested the revised pk125XL- engine with P125ETS-cilinder. Now first to the vespa world days in Hasselt, afterwards we trying to get this engine under the ss.

Can I use the manifold of the SS- engine?

I am considering to temporarily replace the SS50 engine into a pk125 because the oil seals needs to be replaced and I want to give a complete overhaul on the ss50 engine. Is placing such engine "plug and play" or are there things (exhaust manifold) to be adjusted? Thanks!

At first I thought the Vespa's grew on trees in Greece, now I know that I better have a shovel mounted this summer. Check the condition of the body, this vespa looks in much worse shape than the previous. When sandblasting you get probably holes in the backplate. -

The color in itself has no soul, but with the repainting disappears 50 years Vespa history. This mistake was often made in the past by restoration such as buildings, renewing takes the soul away. This is only my opinion :) -

on the cylinder of my SS50 is only marked piaggio and S en the number 3?. (see photo). Is this then according to a SS50?

Are the stickers on the glove box water slides or vinyl stickers? Most of the stickers on the market are based on vinyl, so I would like to print them on special decal paper. Has anyone experience with this method? Thnks!
