Sure that an Arduino is less expensive than Megasquirt! And it's true that the new Arduino is impressive, but I wouldn't go for programming all from scratch... Sounds as a really good news if some programs are available to make an ECU out of an Arduino!

No, I don't use Megasquirt. And my RPM problems with Vespatronic are solved since 3 years: FiX, a SPRT pilot who has good electronic skills has managed to filter properly the signal. But thanks for you link, I hadn't heard about this product.

I have everything ready for driving ignition by ecu but for the moment I have not tried... one step at a time. I use the Vespatronic hight voltage shitty double signal and that was not an easy game !

fuel only??? what d'you mean? I use mix in my tank, same as with carb... round 2% motul 800.

I use an external electric pump plus a 3 bars valve, no fuel tank modification except a little hole for fuel return next to the filling plug. Batt : I use a 125 Varadero batt positionned in front of fuel tank, replacing the plastic tool box on my small frame. Smaller batteries where more expensive... ignition : I still use the same Vespatronic as when I was running with a carb. Why ? did you face trouble trying to get RPMs correctly? I did, it took me time to solve that!

Hi Gravedigger ! So, do your injection work properly? As I don't understand german, I've just had a look to your pictures and videos... Seems to idle not too bad ! mine works great since 3 years now on my K2 small frame... (you can see and hear my scooter at 4:33) it's fun to see your pictures : we don't use the same things, even if we use the same injector type (0-5 V) and close throttle body... I use 2 injectors, no lambda... I'm also surprised by the huge size of your fuel pump, mine is 100mm long and 20mm diameter. My system works on an old Quattrini M1L 2008 + vespatronic + Franz exhaust with a 28 throttle body, 3 bars pressure. I'm using injection since 2011 in K2, never had any trouble... just an injector collapsed by dry oil because it stayed 6 month without runing. No trouble during the MagnyCours 10 hours race (10700 rpm in the long strait line at each lap) Ask your racing friends who sometimes come to France, they probably know my scooter.
