I have been driving a polini 207 for 3 seasons. It has worked really good for me. Personally I like the enginecharacter with the polini a lot more than the malossi. It has enormous power from the bottom of the revs. And it´s a lot more powerfull overall than the malossi. What you really should do is to chamfer all the edges of all the ports in the barrel. From factory they are really edgy and rough. Just use dremel or a tiny file. I also honed the barrel al little to raise the clearance between barrel and piston. Make sure the compression isn´t to high! aim for 10:1. Ofcourse make sure the ignition is well setup and the jetting is not to weak!!! Polini makes you smile bigtime, it´s wonderful!
