ON SALE ON THE "RR GRAPHICS" WEBSITE ! http://www.rrgraphics.fsnet.co.uk/news.htm 26th November 2005 Hi, thanks to you, we have had a very busy month, with orders piling in. We did however find time to have a weekend off for the Paris Scooter show which again was held at the Atrium in Chaville. It was very well staged and a credit to the Vulcans Scooter club. The warm up do was in Paris centre on the Friday night and was again porn themed.... with lots of blow up dolls in attendance and some very bizarre raffle prizes! Saturday was spent just dossing about nursing a hangover, although a few ventured into Paris for some sight seeing. The pre show party started at 21.30. This was held in the same venue as last year with various DJ's spinning some favourite tunes and a band, who in all honesty I thought were crap, but they only did a short set then it was back on with the DJ's. Sunday came and went in a bit of a blur, but looking around the scooters on show there were some very tasty scooters in attendance in particular "Steve", "Trojan" , and two cut downs and a chop from Italia Refinishing along with some very well engineered Vespa's and a lovely Lambretta from Germany. Monday morning came round all to soon though and it was time to pack up and leave The ride home was pretty uneventful apart from the Trojan scoot breaking a rear shock but Alan from Eurolambretta loaned him one off one of his resto's to get him home. Top man Alan. Anyway after holing a piston on the way home last year I am pleased to say that my GP ran faultlessly there and back but I really need to change my seat for something more comfortable. The Vulcan scooter club put on yet another another great weekend and we hope to be there next year! All this shit happens in the northern districts of Paris Suburb (called 93 Seine Saint Denis) where "foreign" minorities are living ... and doesn't happens in Paris Centre or in the western Paris Suburb where Chaville (upper class area) is located (Chaville is 5mns from touristic Versailles), an area where police forces are the highest number per persons around Paris ! :huh: I've got a Taffspeed exhaust on a Vespa PX210 ... This exhaust (Taffspeed Mk4 - BSAU193a 1990/T3) doesn't allows a centre stand due to the curved exit of the exhaust on the cylinder apparently ... Has anyone already installed a centre stand or has any idea of fitting one ... In the last August issue of Scootering magazine, the Vespa "RS210 Taffspeed Demonstrator" has a centre stand and not a side stand ... that's what I want ! if you any photos please send me to [email protected]
