Kerzen gehen nicht kaputt. Fact.

Ich habe es gemacht mit Gradenscheibe und vernuftige Kolbenstopper, etc. There are no marks on the Sprint Veloce flywheel (and it runs without battery) Zwanzig mal wieder alles kontroliert. Und sowieso must fûr 18° die "baseplate" nach Rechts gedrehen werden, almost to the limit. So i really do not think I was wrong: it was 18° and did not work right; I turned it in the opposite direction and now it works (for the momemnt)....

By the way: Schloer wrote he uses a Zündkerze W3AC Ich denke aber Malossi 166 mit O-ring braucht ein W3CC (Langgewinde). Kurzgewinde geht nicht tief enough in Brennraum (but I could be wrong, I am just an amateur) Maurice

Malossi 166 im Sprint Veloce Nun war bei mir auch ein problem bei alleinfahren, nicht nut mit Frau: engine does sputter, violent reports from the exhaust (BANG!), ausfallen, irregular driving, no speed... After checking EVERYTHING I tried something that should not be done. I had painstakely given 18° BTDC, as should be with a Malossi 166 (I measured it all right, shure of it, no mistake) Now I have changed it to something like 24° Miracle: no more problems !!!! How could this this be???? By the way: I looked at my piston, and it was placed like it should be (and thanks for the tips, I did learn something). Maurice

Habe das selbste Problem !!! Allein geht es, aber mit Frau nicht ! Und auch Ich habe ein Malossi 166 mit O-Ring !!! (am Sprint Veloce, SI 24 carb; PX 150 Auspuff)). Zufall???? Frage: kan es daran liegen das der Kolben nicht gut montiert es? Kein "Pfeil" am Kolben, so das ich nicht sicher bin welcher Seite Unten une welcher Seite Oben ist... Greetz form Belgium
