Hi everyone,
I’m currently facing an issue that I hope someone here might be able to help with.
I own an NV LML 150cc scooter, which I purchased in Australia back in 2011. Due to limited use — mostly because my lifestyle and the roads in Sydney’s western suburbs weren’t ideal for scooter riding — I decided to import it to Slovenia last year, where I plan to use it during the summer months.
However, I’ve hit a roadblock: in order to register the scooter in Slovenia, I need to complete the homologation process, which requires a Certificate of Conformity (COC). Unfortunately, I was never issued this document in Australia. When I contacted the original seller/importer, they directed me to LML India. I’ve reached out to them, but haven’t received a response.
As many of you may know, LML India has since been sold and is now focused on manufacturing electric scooters. So now I’m stuck with a low-mileage scooter that I can’t legally ride.
Has anyone here had a similar experience? If so, how did you manage to resolve it? Alternatively, does anyone have documentation outlining the required technical specifications (including emission readings) for this model, which I could use to create a substitute document?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Romeo
