  1. Thanks Nick for the clarification, Currently with my BGM 57mm crank I have mounted only the Malossi base gasket. Due to my high altitude conditions, the Malossi head had low compression, I sent my p200 head to be re-profiled for a smaller combustion chamber and squish of 1.2mm. I think I was falling into a typical trap here in the USA, that you need reed valve and a big carburetor for performance. I am inspired and impressed with what you guys are able to do with rotary vane and Si 24. I will give it a go again myself. I will be using a velocity stack like the polini venturi. This product was first developed in 2001 by Al Harpham in California. It looks like this: This is before and after of applying cold metal to rotary surface. You guys ever do this over in Europe? Sorry if it is a little of topic and thanks again guys for responding to my post and for the wealth of information contained on this forum. -John
  2. I am just going to stay with Si24 and 57mm crank for now, thanks guys for the suggestions. -John
  3. Thanks for the suggestions. As it is I already have the pwk 28. Currently on malossi rotary intake with unedited rotary surface, which makes for not a good combination, I am finding. Currently with BGM 57mm crank. My altitude of 2400 meters makes for power loses and I am looking for something more. Does .8mm Fudi and .8mm Kodi make for good timing with Big box/big box sport? Thanks, -John
  4. Greetings from Colorado, USA. I have learned a lot by reading these forums using google translate. Hopefully someone is able to assist me in English with questions on my engine build. First of all the basis for my build is a 1979 USA P200e with Malossi 210 "sport." Here is a photo of my scooter nearby my home. Photo taken at 2700 Meters above sea level. This is how my transfer ports have been edited: This is my piston: My cylinder bottom transfer ports have been opened up like the case. The exhaust port has NOT been edited at this time. This work was done professionally here in the USA. The rest I plan to use: Malossi 210 "sport" PWK 28 with foam filter on MRP Membrane manifold with BGM RD350 reed block. 60er LHW Malossi Vespower Ignition 1200g BGM Superstrong Clutch 23/65 with 36z 4th. I am looking for good balance of Ps and Nm. What changes to exhaust port on cylinder do you recommend? What Fudi/Kodi do you recommend? I have a BGM Big Box original, but would Big box sport or other be better? Other suggestions? Here, vespa mechanics have very little experience with the new "sport" and "MHR" I would greatly appreciate your suggestions. Thanks very much! -John
